St. Paul Lutheran Church
Our Lord, when he walked on the earth, was sent and passionately driven with a specific mission. That mission eventually put him on the cross where he conquered sin, death and the devil for all of humankind. After Jesus rose from the dead, he sent his followers to share the Good News about his death and resurrection. This was his sending to all Christians everywhere, "Go and make disciples of all nations." Therefore, St. Paul and every congregation that believes and follows the words and life of Christ is to be driven by the same mission in which Jesus sent his disciples. Everything that we do as the body of Christ at St. Paul shall be led by the mission that Jesus set before us. We shall not be led by personal opinions, preferences, or tastes. Rather, we shall let the mission and words of Christ be our guide and the motivation in our hearts.
